CNBA General Meeting Minutes
April 8, 2015

Sue Fitzpatrick called the meeting to order at 8:10 AM and welcomed everyone.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bob Gassaway
CNBA officers introduced themselves. (in attendance Sue Fitzpatrick, Greg Calderero, Patty Volherbst, Mary Barbagallo, Glen Dalakian, Bob Gassaway, Alison Antenucci)
Bob Gassaway made motion to approve March 2015 minutes. Dan Fenske second. Motion passed.
Mary Barbagallo gave Treasurer’s report – CNBA has $6857.01 in PNC checking, $14, 184.62 in Pay Pal account, and $2890.66 in Money Market account. Total $23, 932.29. Motion to approve Treasurer’s report by Jamie Stimpson, second by Sherry Hiller. Motion passed.
New business in town – Bill Sharro announced he will be opening “Down to Earth” along with Carmine Casola which will be a farm and produce stand at the corner of Laird Rd and Rt. 34.
Upcoming events are the 3 card exchanges scheduled for May, August and October. Down to Earth offered to host for May. August will most likely be at Pebble Creek and Greenhouse Flowers is interested in hosting the October event.
Sue asked for volunteers for her map committee with the intention of getting the next map out by the end of May. Alison Antenucci volunteered to work on it with Sue.
The kiosk, which spent a year at United Counties Insurance is presently at Beckers Hardware, but will be moved to Investors Bank next and then hopefully to Brocks.
Added Value – Rabbi Effie was drawn from the hat at this meeting. We will again be putting cards in the hat for the next drawing in July.
Patty announced that Made in Monmouth will take place this Sat. April 11 at Monmouth University.
Econ. Development – Greg mentioned the upcoming meeting on April 16 which will be attended by Rich Gatto from the Freehold Business District.
Glen mentioned the videos which were put together with the CNHS students under the direction of Lisa Aldridge. Once completed, they will be put on the township website and You Tube.
David Sokoler invited any member who might have a topic of interest for a future meeting to contact him.
Stephanie Cole volunteered to become the new chairperson of the Welcome committee.
Tom Hennessey announced that April 18 is opening day of baseball and that the Women’s Frisbee championship will also be held at Bucks Mill Park on that same day.
Glen mentioned the Tailgate event, planned for opening day of football at CNHS on Sept. 12. While Darien Barnes, the football coach, has formed a committee at the HS, Mary Beth Sweeney agreed to act as laison between the CNBA and Darien. Stephanie Cole also volunteered to work with Mary Beth.
Because there was no speaker, members were invited to give a more detailed overview of their business, rather than just introducing themselves.
