CNBA JANUARY GENERAL MEETING

GENERAL MINUTES:
- Dino thanked Sue Fitzpatrick for opening Town Hall for us and asked her to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
- Dino introduced the officers
- Thank you to the Colts Neck Eatery for the breakfast & coffee
- A motion to approve the December Minutes 1st Art Raskin and Allison Antucci 2nd
- Treasurer’s report: As of December 31, 2019
Investors Bank Checking: $1,364.13
Investors Money Market: $5,610.99
Paypal: $496.28
TOTAL: $7,085.16
- A motion to approve the Treasurers Report 1st Art Raskin and Reverend Scott Brown 2nd
- Dino updated on website work. Database and website functionality is completed. All are encouraged to visit the site to check out. Credit Card payments can be taken on the site for people to sign up. People will also be able to sign up for recurring memberships/automatic renewals. The website is also mobile friendly. Event Tickets can be purchased now on the website
- Membership– make sure to renew membership for 2020. Thank you Kymberly for the update.
- Toys of Joy- Isabella reported on the 4 boxes of toys collected for “Friends of JJ” a nonprofit that provides gifts to children in the hospital. Thank you to all who donated at the December meeting.
- Reorganize New Businesses in town- Jennifer Jenson is launching a new publication in Colts Neck- she currently publishes Rumson Living and Fair Haven Living. Jenny Vota does Reiki at the Holistic Healing Center in Colts Neck, does pet sitting, and is a certified organic micro greens grower- subscriptions can be started with her for delivery service within 3 miles. Louis Critelli is about a month away from opening a Realty and full-service concierge service (jets and boat sales) in the former Huddy’s location.
- 1/4/2020 was the Colts Neck Reorganization meeting. Congratulations to Sue Fitzpatrick on her appointment to the Township Committee, Michael Viola the deputy Mayor and Frank Rizzuto, our new Township Mayor.
- 1/21 is our next card exchange at Holistic Healing Center hosted by Dr. Nancy Beliveau.
- 3/13 and 3/14 is the Friends of the Library Book sale at the Library
- 3/24 Trump Luncheon. Please see Vito Viola for advertising opportunities in the luncheon journal, vendor tables, and sponsorships. Looking for volunteers to help at the event and donations for a gift basket auction. Tickets sell out, so purchase as soon as they are available (in the next few weeks) to ensure you are able to attend one of the best attended events of the year.
- Update from JP Bartolomeo: JP along with all the committee members are available to answer any questions you may have. Communication is key with the committee and they want to make sure information is not “polluted.” JP is at the CNBA to share information back and forth with the Township Committee (all the committees in CN have a liaison from the Township Committee). January 29th – This is the presentation on the new municipal building at Town Hall (prior to the 7:30pm Township committee meeting at 5:30pm) The School Board (who is a separate governance from the township) is holding a State of the State meeting at 7pm this same evening.
- Introduction of Members…and a thank you to Sgt. Steve Panepinto from Colts Neck Police Department for attending and all the department’s support.
